AMAZING, so cute and also violent, its a great mix of stuff so you still feel for him and love him and still keep all the violence and stuff. How many endings are there? i have 17 unlocked, is that all of them? I have been trying for a while.
The description describing this as a creepypasta fanfic-esque game was somehow so accurate? It was a touch funny at times, relateable at others, and admittedly nerve wracking at some points. It was...an experience, and I'd gladly go through it again.
Even though, can we talk about the achievements page? That really helped when trying to collect all the endings. Good job, dev!

This game made me fall in love, feel fear and at the same time feel sorry for Vance, so many emotions and feelings... I just wanted an ending where we could be together without him hurting my sanity, really I'm sad right now.

Can say truthfully that I didn't expect to love this game so much- from Vance's adorable, pathetic, terrifying self to the striking writing. There's certain scenes (a mouth full of blood, flesh sharing, etc) that I just know are going to stay with me for a long time, they were so good! we love a cannibalism as intimacy moment
His "creepypasta" facial expression is my favourite? & Vance's violent desperation is cute... I'm going to rotate him in my head for a long while. Thank you so much for your hard work and for sharing this pathetic catboy with us. I'll cherish the time spent with him and surely return to this game again in the future.
I've considered implementing it, but ended up scrapping it because skipping the jumpscares made some parts of the story confusing. Maybe I should add a similar feature or something, though I have no idea how it should look in practice... Possibly replacing the audiovisual jumpscare with a written description of what's happening to keep the story intact?
Aw, I'm glad you like it! If you'd prefer to play without jumpscares, there's an option to disable them in the newest version of the game :) (Don't worry, your progress should be transferred automatically)
i love how the very first choice gives such different results at the end (especially the tea. what kinda tea is that.)
vance is the love of my life i want to be with him forever despite the headaches (v characters are always so cool, varai from loveless biker boys (another great visual novel) was an absolute joy as well)
i wish to see so much more of this stuff, and i hope this game gets some sort of sequel, the idea of a character like vance only being apparent while sleep deprived is amazing and i really wanna make my own character based off vance (if that's okay uyghedsrf)
there was one glitch, however, the secret for the unused kiss description crashes the game, like you click on it, the text appears for like 3 frames, then the game crashes, and i had to get a really well timed screenshot to read it
one issue i have with the game is how underused the sanity and wakefulness meter is, they're used in only like 2 bad endings, and outside of that there's really no point to them, i would love to see them used to change how the protagonists views or reacts to things, like making certain specific choices to get each meter to certain high or low thresholds changes what happens in the path you're in

The wakefulness is more of a gauge than a gameplay changing that, yes, though that might or might not change in the future. As for the sanity, though, it actually changes more than you think! It may not be as explicit for the player as in the "your sanity ran out" endings, but certain choices and scenes ARE actually sanity-dependent.

i love this pathetic little guy. great game. i think my favorite part was getting splitting headaches from vance and knowing something was very very wrong and also already having fought him off and/or tried to run away but then deciding that no this is fine actually👍
The one thing I'm a bit confuzzled about is that I'm not sure how many endings there are (I got 16 I believe) and that the guide itself was a bit hidden, but here is the guide for those who are also confused how to get the achievements and some of the endings! Game Guide
But one thing I gotta say is that I was genuinely surprised by the scares. Not only that but I adore how despite Vance is pathetic, there's genuinely something that makes him terrifying with his unhingedness and feralness, not only that but he's just the right amount insane and terrifying that I am going *chefs kiss*. I also like how there is a genuine consequence of having Vance stay with us because oh boy, I have been dealing with headaches for majority of my time so to have MC encounter it all while battling with Vance seesawing between being pathetic cryptic boi to OH SHIT CRYPTIC BOI is a good mechanic.
Other than that I enjoyed trying to get the multiple endings and getting my ass scared by Vance, I genuinely didn't expect him to be terrifying because of his design (especially his ears, like, how could I be scared of his ears and thAT HE PURRS??? Actually maybe the headache thing should have clued me in on that....)
For real! They have such a good blend because they're seriously like a pendulum. They could swing from one side and drastically to the other, it's downright terrifying because it keeps you on your toes and never lowering your guard which is a good mechanic.
I was completely captivated by this game! I was able to get all of the endings & achievements, and I really fell in love with Vance and the atmosphere of this world. Everything in this game felt really well done and unique, and I think this game will be on my mind for quite a while. I'm really glad I was able to experience playing this!
This game is magnificent! It has skilled writing, a unique plot, and an adorable love interest. Vance is awkward, sensitive, and sweet, and I love him so much! I think I could make a relationship work with him - with a face mask and some kind of protective suit covering me. :D
i love this so much, vance is babygirl. but... i'm kinda stuck. i can't get the last ending and this other one under late night talks and above bitter end. maybe it's a glitch, idk 😭 but other than that i really love the game!
the achievement under late night talks is new and not in the guide yet, but it should be soon :) as for the last ending, what exactly do you mean by that? the last achievement?
edit: the issue has been fixed now, should be fine in 1.2.1
The new route was a lot of fun to play through, and the new CGs were awesome! It was enjoyable to see Vance be a little more unhinged.
I also really liked the addition of the ending tracker. It made it fun to go back and get the endings again, and it was a pleasant surprise to see some things had changed a bit.
